i try and stick Zero down before it, that way you can continue playing cards there

It's a strong card to play if there's no cards after turn 4 at a location or if the TVA location is in play, particularly if you drop it on turn 3. For the early game it has a very high base power so it's hard to counter with other early game cards. The opponent either sacrifices the location or has to use a turn countering Ebony Maw so you can attack somewhere else. You can also boost it with Blue Marvel or Ironheart as well as synergize with Sunspot as others have said. Aero and Vision are also great ideas I hadn't personally thought about before (Nightcrawler would do in a pinch).

Please quote me when they add location options. Cheers.

There are cards which destroy/change locations if they bother you that mutch, it's usually a good idea to run at least one so you can change a location that doesn't benefit you.

I use Storm for example, but Scarlet Witch and Rhino can also change locations. You get Scarlet Witch really early too.

Locations can be annoying, but they make sure that no ONE deck is ever 'the best' you have to have a well rounded deck that can deal with different potential locations.

Dual wrote:How do you use Ebony Maw properly?

Place him with sunspot and armor, means you can still make the lane a threat by increasing sunspot's power. Cards that can move like vision also make him a threat since you can add another 7 power there at any time

You can also use chantress to disable his ability if you play her at the same time, and as he's an ongoing card spectrum can boost him.

Well done in reaching Diamond! I made it to within a win from getting Diamond and have since slipped back to rank 52. If you had to replace Arnim Zola, what card would you put in place?

I am sat with around 2,500 credits, refusing to upgrade any of my cards until the end of this season to maximise the gains in pool 2 whilst I have the season pass, as I wont be buying it as a regular thing.

Thanks. I think before him I was using Odin. Odin can be really good if you stick your cards up right. He can similarly get Gamora up to +17 and helps boost rocket and Wolfsbane.

Doesn't have the surprise factor of Arnim though which makes you a lot more susceptible to counter play, especially Shang Chi.

Also, if anyone's interested, made a few tweaks to a collector deck someone posted a few pages back and have been doing quite well with it

I gave your deck a try Fade, but not much success. Not to say it's a bad deck of course, as you've hit a higher rank with it than I've achieved. These games really are half deck building and half clever play. Without really understanding the concept of your deck I got smashed, but it's almost certain there were some better moves available to me. I'll go back to it at some point!

I am now on 3,000 credits and sat 4 collection levels off pool 3. The temptation to upgrade is high, but I am determined to resist and keep the wins and unlocks going as long as possible before I make the switch up.

The Collector deck? Or the Gamora one?

The Gamora one basically requires pulling her or Storm. Without them you can't really apply much pressure. Zola gives a lot more flexibility.

My ideal strat without Zola was to use storm and Jessica Jones/Lizard/Sunspot to steal a lane. Then play vision turn 5 to see what they play and give me the option of what other lane to commit to with Gamora.

I also try and save rocket to play with Gamora on the last turn since vision, rocket and Gamora have 23 power if all their abilities trigger. Enough to beat infinaut for example.

I tried a meme strat and it worked

Had a Bar Sinister location and I've been wanting to try this strategy out for a while:

Turn 1: play Iceman at Bar Sinister to give them four -1 nerfs right off the bat
Turn 3: play Killmonger to destroy my four Iceman cards
Turn 5: play Black Bolt at BS to get 32 power there and destroy four of their cards (this was made even better by the fact that my opponent played Devil Dinosaur this turn  )

i seem to use sunspot in every deck. i'm finding it really useful with she-hulk

got to say, i'm not enjoying rickety bridge as the featured location right now

I found some joy playing Spider-Man there on turn five. You either win the location with him or you empty it and have a free hit on it next go. Could also just Armor or Colossus it.

thanks for this :simper:
gave this deck a shot but swapped out sentinel for colossus due to rickety bridge. 70% win rate!

Haven't got Wong yet ( ._.)

Playing him with Devil Dino or Gamora with moderate success though

Taskmaster is good with any high value card.

Venom works quite well with him because he can collect all the power in a lane together for Taskmaster to copy.

I also don't have Wong. I nearly always lose when playing against him, such a powerful card!
