The fact that I don't have my ME1 save is really starting to annoy me when it keeps telling me I did things which I didn't, especially that I killed the Rachni Queen. :x

edit: Found a save editor. Noice.

If only I'd known earlier, I could have had Wrex around in ME2 and ME3! Bit late to change it now, but I've also resurrected Jack, and put most of my ME1 data in there too.

Gibbed's ME3 save game editor.

You can use it to cheat and give yourself like a hojillion paragon points or whatever, but I'm just using it to make the game as it should be.

In fact, Mansell only ended up doing two tracks (Leaving Earth and the one Zellery posted). The rest of the score was done by Sam Hulick (Returning from the previous games  ), Christopher Lennertz, Cris Velasco and Sascha Dikiciyan.

Quick question - Priority Earth Insanity. I'm an Infiltrator, do I take EDI and Liara or EDI and Javik? Also if I remember rightly you do get another chance to pick your squadmates towards the end of this mission don't you?

You do. About 40% into the mission, there's an interlude and when you continue, you can pick a new squad. I'm not sure, but I think there should be a table (or whatever) for you to change weapons etc. as well.

Finished Insanity earlier. Started the last mission with Javik but changed to Liara. I used EDI and Liara as team mates for the vast majority of the missions. On the whole it wasn't really that difficult, the only challenges of note were the triple-Geth Prime confrontation, the second Kai Leng fight and that bastard Marauder at the very end before you walk through the portal. I reckon he caused me more grief than any other part in the game  Just need to level a weapon up to level 10 now to get the full quota of current achievements on it.

I took Liara and Javik on Insanity for the first half then switched it up to EDI and James for the second.

I chose EDI and James for the 2nd part as they're both hard as nails and distracted all the Banshees nicely. :D

Was looking through the old Dragon Age thread and came across this gem from everyone's favourite bummer:

Hexx wrote:BioWare's always been good at endings I think.

Mass Effects was amazing. It finished the story in epic fashion, but set up potentially further plots.

Everything from 50 seconds on

Hard on my flank. I'm going in

If only we knew then, eh?

I think it's actually better done than in 2 or 1. Well, it is with Liara as a maleShep.

The shower scene is awfully rape-y.

FemShep and Traynor is the way forward

I was reading over on the Penny Arcade Report about EVE Online, which had a similar back-lash from the fans due to poor development choices. (PAR Follow up to original uproar)

Worth a look whilst thinking about the ME3 ending fallout.

Bioware have apparently been accused of false advertising  Say what you will about the ending and stuff but I doubt they're the first developers to ever over promise. If Bioware ended up getting sued for false advertising then i'm sure Peter Molyneux will be getting worried. In slightly more positive news, Bioware have said the ending DLC will do a better job of reflecting our choices. I hope this means we'll get more cutscenes showing the alliances we built up and their impact against the Reapers. That being said i can't believe the last part of the statement - that has to be a joke :fp:

Speaking at the Mass Effect panel at PAX East (via) Penny Arcade, Bioware producer Mike Gamble said: "To be clear, the Extended Cut is not a re-imagining of the ending or a new ending. We're currently building it right now, our cinematics team is on it. Our writers are heavily involved. It's coming together."
So while it won't change the endings per se, it will expand on them to provide "more clarity for those seeking further closure to their journey", as previously promised.

Gamble elaborated a little: "It's more than just a few cinematic scenes. We're happy to be doing it... We want to give more closure about some of the questions you have, and in general we wanted to give the players a sense of personalisation with the endings.

"Many people mentioned that some of the choices they made in the game are not necessarily reflected in the ending scenes. We're definitely going to focus on things like that. We want to make sure that when you see the ending of Mass Effect, you now have the information and context to be satisfied."

He added: "It wasn't in the game because we didn't know there was such a huge demand for it, to be honest with you."

One developer mentioning something in an interview is not 'advertising'.
