Sentinel is just a beast in ME2. So much versatility, and that's in addition to the armour power.

The problem is that I always see Shephard as a soldier, nothing else.

I dunno... It just felt wrong playing other classes. Ah well, might swallow my pride and play both ME games again with a different class.

Yep, that's pretty much why I chose soldier in my main playthrough.

Got the new artbook today. It's excellent, highly recommend it if you're at all interested in the games. Couldn't resist looking at the ME3 section... :(

There seems to have been something mentioned on twitter about the final game shipping with high res textures. I wonder if this will work like Battlefield 3.

Anything of interest in the ME3 section aside from the two things we talked about the other day? :shifty:

I kind of semi-looked away as I turned the pages. The pieces of art come with descriptions of the design process which I didn't want to read so I can't really say anything. One design I saw was a big spoiler though, one I expected but still...not revealing.

I find soldier the easiest to play as, although perhaps not to the most fun. Focus on maxing out adrenaline rush and then get armour and inceniary as high as you can and you can mow down lots of enemies in slow-mo while taking minimal damage.

I always do that as well, but constantly forget about the bullet-time skill. I'm just too good for it 8-) (on normal :shifty:)

I was laughing because you were bragging then said on normal.

I thought that was the whole point. Y'know, to laugh.

I couldn't do any ME game above it, I reckon. I have all of my AI doing their own thing, rather than commanding them into an effective strategy.

That was definitely a key point that I had to focus on when I started out on Insane.

I bought it last night on Amazon for a friends bday present. Selected free delivery and was getting sent by Yodel with delivery date for next Tuesday. Knock at the door at 7:50 this morning and it arrived. Only looked at the front cover before heading out to work but tempted to keep it myself :shifty:

Just realised I don't have my ME2 save on my current Xbox. It was a perfect save too, everyone survived that could, Shepard was a as good as he could be. :'( Gutted!

Will feel dirty starting ME3 with a fresh Shepard, but just haven't the time to go through ME2 again.

The hype for one of the year's hottest video games, Mass Effect 3 (out March 6, on PS3, Xbox 360 and PCs, ages 17-up) is reaching new stratospheric heights.

In case you don't know, a playable demo has already hit Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network.

But next week, a select intrepid few will have the opportunity to play the full game before it hits stores. Publisher Electronic Arts will be launching copies of the game into space using weather balloons that will be released in New York, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Berlin, London and Paris.

Each game has a GPS tracking device onboard and fans can track their return to the Earth on masseffect.com to find a copy and play it a week or more before the game hits stores. (Might not be a bad idea to follow @MassEffect, either.)
