(Also to work on)

My Xbox is really quite bad at playing 4k content and I need a machine for work anyway so thought I could roll both into one.

Budget is a fairly big concern and I'm not able to build one myself anymore as my back is literally broken. What price should I be looking at to play 4k video content and run office software comfortably? I'll need a decent monitor but nothing fancy. Maybe a PC capable of F2P games like Warzone but I'm not looking to push the envelope with gaming.

Any help's appreciated, don't really know where to start nowadays.

Is about £600 reasonable? I'd really like to avoid going >800 if possible.

Maybe get a NUC? This one apparently does 4k but I don't know about performance (and it's just the first one off Google so don't know about the website either!):

I was going to suggest a NUC too, and an i5 should be fine for 4k - but gaming will be very limited.

That looks perfect, love the form factor. Cheap too and the site looks reputable - have contacted them to see if they do EU shipping. Thanks!

Just wanted to say a quick thanks for the find. They were out of the i5 version but upgraded me to the AMD (20 quid more on the site) for free. It's running really nicely.

I need to stop ordering from UK sites though - it was a hundred quid for import taxes! Which Droix have said they'll reimburse. I'd seriously recommend them to everyone - they've been super quick at responding to me, and really accommodating with all my needs. Brilliant service.

I was going to suggest something like a small form factor PC running Plex or something like a Roku but these tiny NUC PCs seem to have filled a gap that is currently filled by a giant Antec self-build thing that looks like a full size AV receiver running an AMD 64 from 2009 or something

Then again that machine can run pretty full on (albeit old) games on Steam etc and has a disk drive so it's a bit more versatile than that. I'll probably never get rid of it even if I barely switch it on. :fp:
