I walked right in, used my water pistol on the radio communications thing, walked back out. That was the normal one.

You can S-rank it without getting off the helicopter, the issue is if you redo the mission when the equipment is already busted. You get a cute little scene where Ocelot calls off the mission with an "Oh...well...good work, I guess." and you get an '-' rank. This overwrites anything else including S ranks but doesn't count towards your S rank completion, even if you redo it.

So now Ive got all missions, all mission tasks, all animals, all documents etc, just 49/50 S-ranks.

Kind of annoying that the only thing holding me back from Platinum (apart from the nuke I'm building right now) needs to be patched in by Konami.

How is the equipment not reset when replaying the level? I remember blowing up everything in that level before realizing that you could just fry the control room to get all the objectives.

Did you blow it up originally in a side-op or something? How does the glitch happen?

You can do the same on Extreme. I did anyway.

Gave Hand of Jehuty a try and love it!

Cleared that with a Jehuty and D-Dog stun combo!

I probably did it in free roam or something, but they stay destroyed for I think 5 in-game days or a certain number of missions. Kind of like the sniper towers or in a later mission with cameras on poles you can knock down the poles before hand and remove that threat from the mission completely. It's just that with C2W it's a mission critical change that pretty much nulls the task.

Just tried the "Extract the Code Talker's research containers" mission. I refuse to believe there's any way to do that stealthily. The jungle container alone is surrounded by 6 fully body armoured guards who don't react to sleeping gas and who cannot be tranqed. Load of bollocks.

I used sleeping gas just fine on that mission and D-Dog to pick off the loners.

And the jungle container was the first one you come across right? That had 1 single guard who gave me the location of the remaining container :slol:

I did a sleeping gas support strike and not one of them fell asleep. And there was definitely 6, all clustered together. Tried using DD, the rest heard ran over and woke the guy.

I was using my own sleeping gas grenades (level 5 or 6)

Anyways, 62% complete and on 150 hours play time and all that time I've just found out by accident that you can rapid switch to your secondary and primary weapons when one is drawn and you press square :fp: :slol:

Throw a decoy at one's feet and activate it, it'll knock him out. Keep doing the same to his friends as they come along to check it out. If you manage to get them in a group then you can take them all out at once.

Run to the airport, make your way in, the caravan is near two tanks. Try sneaking by, Fulton then run like Forest Gump.

Ok, I'm a big liar and because I didn't see the C2W fix in the notes and gave up trying it for no reason I assumed it hadn't been fixed.

But it had.

So, oops, I guess.

Anyway, now 100% complete. Platinum trophy get etc.

Seems kind of flaccid since I was S-ranking it God knows how many times and then suddenly just "Oh...it worked now. That's...ok, wow."

But still, it's done now.

Only thing that's annoyed me so far is the ridiculous checkpoints. Spent nearly 50 minutes clearing out a base. I found the prisoner and he died,

End of mission. Start all over again. strawberry float off.

Fabian Delph is a banana split.

Not sure that'll stand up in the International Criminal Court.
