Dang it! This was one of my "most excitement" titles for 2018. Ah, well... at least I'll have time to play the precursor games  .

Don't surprise me, I guess a lot more games will follow suit (i.e Darksiders 3)

If it results in a better game, that's fine.

With so much else on the horizon a delay is welcome, certainly if it results in a better game.

I have every expectation that this game will be huge fun to play and look bloody fantastic.
I'm going to get this for the One X and I'm going to enjoy every single second  .

Good trailer.

I get the feeling that whatever Metro follows Exodus will be a cross between Stalker and Fallout, given the move out into the Russian countryside.

It's really going to look amazing on a 4K tv and One X.

I know this is a bold statement but this has a good chance of being my Game of the Year for 2019.
I have sky high hopes for this :toot: .

Game has gone gold and the release date brought forward by 1 week.

S: Neither was the last one. It was a robbery. M: Really? S: Yeah. She stole my heart. And my crown. (❍ᴥ❍ʋ)

I remember this looking gorgeous at E3.

...would I have had to play the originals to understand this?

It always helps to have an understanding of the setting, previous events, the principle factions and whatnot, but given the dramatically different setting, and the possibility that old factions etc won't necessarily come into play, it more than likely isn't as important to play 2033 & Last Light before Exodus as it was to play 2033 before LL. I still would though, because they're excellent games.

I still need to buy this aged map poster of 2033's metro. :shifty:

I have yet to go through the Redux version of LL actually. :fp: Pretty worried that a common and irritating bug that turned off NPC character movement and most of the AI in a given room will still be there from the original version. :dread:

To equip players for an immersive experience as they trek across the ravaged Russian landscape, we’re announcing the Xbox One X Metro Saga Bundle, which includes full-game downloads of Metro 2033 Redux, Metro: Last Light Redux and Metro Exodus, so you can jump into the haunting tale of humanity’s survival from the very beginning. Enhanced for Xbox One X in 4K Ultra HD and with HDR support, Metro Exodus will take players on a journey through vast sandbox levels packed with apocalyptic creatures across four beautiful but hostile seasons.

Along with full-game downloads of the entire Metro saga, the Xbox One X Metro Saga Bundle includes an Xbox One X console with a 1TB hard drive, an Xbox Wireless Controller and 1-month trials to Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Live Gold.
