I have every expectation that this game will be huge fun to play and look bloody fantastic.
I'm going to get this for the One X and I'm going to enjoy every single second

Good trailer.
I get the feeling that whatever Metro follows Exodus will be a cross between Stalker and Fallout, given the move out into the Russian countryside.

It always helps to have an understanding of the setting, previous events, the principle factions and whatnot, but given the dramatically different setting, and the possibility that old factions etc won't necessarily come into play, it more than likely isn't as important to play 2033 & Last Light before Exodus as it was to play 2033 before LL. I still would though, because they're excellent games.
I still need to buy
this aged map poster of 2033's metro. 
I have yet to go through the Redux version of LL actually.
Pretty worried that a common and irritating bug that turned off NPC character movement and most of the AI in a given room will still be there from the original version.
