But holy strawberry floating gooseberry fool do I just have no clue where the suit to move through water normally or grapple beam are. Despite not having the latter, I've cheesed many rooms that require it by instead using well placed frozen enemies with the ice beam, and found the x-ray goggles which should make it easier to find secrets, and ergo find one of the 2 power-ups I actually need. But no. After combing the entire map once again I've found a lot of secret stuff, but it's other optional extras like more missiles, or just more areas I can't access yet. So I'm at a complete loss, and I really don't want to use a guide or look anything up online, but I've gone over the entire map at least 5 times now. Can anyone who's beaten the game perhaps help give tips as to what area I should sextuple check?
I've beaten it before and I still got rather stuck at this point last night.
Devlin would be so ashamed if he watched me play
No shame at all. It can be easy to miss things in this, especially as not all of it is immediately obvious.
Though my next playthrough I'm aiming to cut out that whole section and avoid the grapple beam entirely. I only did it last time for the
Draygon fight and I want to be able to do that without going for the easier kill. Could easily save me 10+ minutes on a playthough.
