I am three rooms off the 200.6% achievement in sotn, no shame in using a guide for the breakable walls because f this s lol. I do enjoy how by this point in the game you are basically a God.

Edit - done! Always bothered me that I got stuck near the beginning of this, glad I finished it.

Breakable walls are the Metroidvania spawn of the devil. Hate those things.

I think I might go back and play SOTN again. It's BC on Xbox One, so that's all good.

Just bought Guacamelee 2. Steam seems to have applied a discount. Got it for under 13 quid with my added steam wallet money.

I've been trying chasm. It's technically very competent but it has no identity, it's literally a SotN clone with a procedural map gimmick. I'll be pushing on with it though as the gameplay is good.

Finished chasm just now, I have really mixed feelings about it. It's probably the most iterative metroidvania I've played. It brings very little new to the table, yeah there's the procedural map but unless you replay the game you wouldn't know it. That said the gameplay is tight and I liked it enough to finish it and do everything (not doing hard or permadeath mode though).

I'm about 2 or so hours into Axiom Verge. Really liking it so far. Soundtrack is really cool.

I've started Hollow Knight.... It's lovely but difficult. Will stick with it though.
