I have been surprised by the lack of kinect titles announced. Although they are not the kind of games people here would play, last year there were the key sequels and one or two new packages (Disneyland), but save for Kinect Fable, MS seem to have lost interest. Is it just they are readying other things for 2013 and the next xbox?

There was also Dance Central 3, Matter, Nike+ Trainer and countless other games with Kinect voice integration.

Most of them had some kind of Kinect integration, though :?

But virtually all of that was voice commands. Not necessarily saying I am disappointed, just surprised that they don't have another raft of family oriented games to keep pushing kinect to the masses.

Has it been mentioned that Microsft purchased the developers of Max and the Magic Marker?

So, never: they're talking annual sales, not cumulative sales and I'd wager if you take out the UK and US from the equation they'll be in third place.

They've still gone from UK and US best sellers to best sellers Worldwide.

Stop trying to spin everything into an anti-Microsoft post all the time. It's strawberry floating boring.

yes but somebody always takes the job. good to have some fresh blood doing it anyway

we really don't need it now. Mattick does enough to damage the brand so folk can rest easy, prepare for another day and the real battle against a PC only future. PC, the quiet killer waits to crush them all.

You really don't like the guy hey, is it because he insufferably smug? What's you opinion of the other presenters; Tretton and Reggie?

Yup smug and taken 360 away from a console i really enjoyed. Their focus is not my focus.

The others. Reggie: ok but not half as cool as the nacolytes seem to think. Tretton: Maybe a little bland but seems so much more sensible than the kind of smug tossers they used to push out (and ms do now) - yes he still talks some gooseberry fool, they have to and wouldn't be american otherwise but he isn't as bad..

That's a little unfair.

Don Mattrick isn't solely responsible for the direction Microsoft have taken the 360.

MS can add all the bells and whistles they want, the 360 still has a disk drive I can put Halo, Bioshock, Hitman, Dishonored, AC3 and Need for Speed in so that's all that matters to me.

He may have a degree of smugness but didn't the 360 start to become profitable since he took up his role at Microsoft/Xbox and entertainment division??

There was a big focus on games and IP when Moore was in charge.

Mattrick has made money but with a huge casual push and move away from such a great gamer focus.

Mattrick is also so bloody sure of himself and his utter brilliance. Insufferable man.

I amit that skips has listed some good stuff there though.
