What are the chances of death loop coming to game pass on day 1? Like the other big MS releases? That would be amazing.

This is an interesting wrinkle. You can get it on the Bethesda store or Steam at the moment, it could come to Game Pass PC early but they've had chances to confirm that and haven't said anything so it feels like it isn't at this point

It was a big day for Microsoft yesterday so why lesson the PR win for Xbox by soothing the worries of the PlayStation community? However Spencer did give multiple scenarios of games not being exclusive; communities, contracts and legacy.

Yes we can all argue about definitions but Todd Howard has actually spoken about how Bethesda games can come to other platforms and benefit Xbox via exclusivity window, exclusive dlc etc. Unless things get ugly between MS and Sony I'm pretty sure the Elder Scrolls VI will come to PS5. Additionally the two 'community' games ESO and F76 have player bases that, likely, have played the single player variant first so TESVI and Fallout 5 can feed that. These games will switch to requiring an Xbox account login and in the long game Microsoft will be happy with that.

I'm honestly surprised people genuinely think TES6 and Fallout 5 will release on PS5.

By the time it's done, Fallout 5 will probably be on PS6 tbf

I reckon they're going to milk the big exclusive announcements at their events to get more headlines in future, rather than giving everyone a detailed list of Bethesda exclusives now.

Definitely, I do think by the time TES6 comes around people will be laughing at the fact it was touted as a possibility that it would release on a Sony console.

See what happens. The thread kicking around spiked my interest, looks awesome. I won’t be ordering until we see a bit more but I’m tempted to get it soon after, if not on release. I like a freebie though!

Not sure what "producing the designers" means, but it sounds like he had a hand in quite a few games for sure.

I would imagine he is going down the indie/smaller scale route, seems like a quite a lot of game devs get to a point where they tire of the big studio setup and want a fresh start where they can feel more directly involved again

Yeah, Gardiner has been at Bethesda for sixteen years and notable credits include lead producer (Oblivion expansions), producer (Fallout 3), senior producer (Skyrim), lead producer (Fallout 4) and project lead (Fallout 76).

He may have decided to move to smaller scale stuff but I kinda suspect that he'll be doing a lead role for a large developer. Gonna be interesting to find out!

How old is he?
He seems like he's been in the industry a long time so could just feel like it's time for a change or just early retirement.

...I don't know his age. It looks like one of his first jobs in the games industry was at Midway in 2002.

He's definitely making a change but I'd be a bit surprised if he's leaving the industry when he has said "stay tuned" - but, hey, we'll probably find out soon.
