Microsoft acquire ZeniMax Media. Sounds like everything will be exclusive to Game Pass platforms.

Anything to do with games at all.

Where are you playing exclusive Bethesda games in the future?

Most of the talk around Bethesda has been getting the Games & Studios but MS also get game engines in ID Tech (Doom etc), Void (Dishonored), & Creation (Skyrim/ Fallout :shifty: ). They also get some streaming tech which might help xCloud -

At its 2019 E3 showcase, Bethesda revealed Orion, its patented cloud streaming SDK, which it says its easy to integrate into existing games. Bethesda claims Orion allows games to run at "max settings" with minimal bandwidth usage, even if you live far away from a data center. To demonstrate these claims, Bethesda and id Software who are leading development of this SDK, demonstrated DOOM 2016 at 4K 60 frames per second, running on a smartphone.

'Still iconic' becoming 'Sonic' in some Hodor-esque portmanteau is absurd.

Seems a weird mood as Xbox don't tend to sell well in Japan. I think this might help them somewhat

MS are opening the Tokyo Game Show at 1pm tomorrow. I severely doubt they'd buy Sega, maybe all their games coming to Game Pass at launch at best.

Taken on its own, it is.

But combined with the controller’s blue and white colour scheme, in the same tweet... And “Still iconic” is a pretty weird thing to say about a controller. I can see this all being a deliberately Sonic-themed pad. But it’s a leap to go from that, to saying MS are buying Sega!

I was on the fence about buying Starfield so having it on GamePass means I'm going to at least try it.

My theory this this could be the cheapest gen ever in terms of games is looking like it may be right. If Sony can have a few big hitters on PS Now I may only need to by one or 2 games a gear that I know the guys are going to be playing on a Sunday.

At the moment I'm getting Dirt 5 for PS5, I'll get The Last of Us 2 Multiplayer and Siege is getting a free PS5 upgrade so that should be that for a while for multiplayer. With Boomerang I can try all the single player stuff so yeah, after the initial outlay it shouldn't be that bad.
