I read further through the article and they've said that they've no VR plans at the moment.

That has now changed and VR is a very high priority for the team.

Nice. My only worry (And this might be less of an issue with newer, higher-res headsets) is that when I tried DCS world, a lot of the gauges were quite hard to read without peering closer to them. Plus there's the issue of accessing keyboard controls. I've got a decent HOTAS (X52) but there's too much to map to just one and remember it all.

Definitely looking into a graphics card upgrade for next Christmas I think.

I've been getting a right chubby over the many videos posted on YouTube. I don't have a modern gaming PC so I will have to hope & pray that the game plays well on the Xbox One X/Series X.

Yeah I'm looking forward to this one. My PC is pretty decent (Only two years old now) and shouldn't have too much trouble with this and it'll be nice to have something chill to play.

My old rig dates back to 2011 and has a 570 GTX card inside. No chance of running the game well, so Xbox or nothing for me.

The graphics on this do seem bloody amazing and if they can get it looking like that on Series X will make for some awesome showcase stuff and make the best use of people's new 4K TVs.
It's amazing to think we're at this point in graphics where stuff like this is possible on home machines and I'm not sure how we can make any more giant leaps in visuals from here. I suppose we always say that but in this case with the pretty much photorealism and the sheer attention to detail that the developers seem to be putting in it may be a Crysis like benchmark moment.

I'm hopeful that the newer Xbox will have no problems with this.

It'll be interesting to see how they adapt the controller for it, or if they'll allow you to use a proper PC Throttle and Stick on it.

The visuals have always been pretty good in flight simulators. I've been playing flight sims since the very early 1990's on the Amiga. We thought back then the graphics couldn't get any better that they were in the Microprose simulators, but as hardware improves, then the visuals always kick on another gear.

I must say, the visuals in this upcoming game are about as lifelike as I've seen. I'm sure the game will run to a decent standard on the Xbox One X. I'm hopeful the Series X can really show off what it's capable of with this game.

I expect Xbox's E3 Presentation (I know it's cancelled but they do it in MS theatre) to show this running on Series X and to look just as good as leaked vids.

This game alone will sell me a Series X.
The graphics just look way beyond anything we have now and even though I'm going to spend all of my time sightseeing and just pottering about in all the cool jets I honestly think this game will become my go to relaxing game.

I'll check it out as It's launching into Gamepass but apart from looking gorgeous, there doesn't seem to be much to do. If it has certain things/challenges to do it could be amazing, landing in storm, flying between mountains staying below a certain altitude.

Also, it's been confirmed for Xbox but thread title only says PC.... just saying... :shifty:

It looks as amazing as it does boring to me.

I get the appeal to some though.

This game alone will justify getting Game Pass for 3 years in advance.
Just being able to pootle about in a game this great looking will be amazing. Landing an A380 at Luton Airport will be fun.

£60 for the Standard
£80 for the Deluxe
£110 for the Premium edition

I can live with those prices tbh due to the fact it is a flight sim.

Game Pass for PC is £3.99 a month. I can't understand why anyone wouldn't play it that way.
