Sister installed this on her power rig for me to try out, and I love it. It's a bit awkward on a controller, though that might just be sensitivity settings, as the slightest change of direction had me fighting to get it back on a level heading. Went on a hunt to find where I live, which I only found by recognising Leasowes Park, then set a flight from Birmingham to London, where I then came in too fast and crashed propellor first into the landing strip.

Really enjoyed my stream last night. Couple of short flights and an attempted terrorist atrocity.

It's great to start getting a better handle on how the planes handle and it's astonishingly good looking. I'll definitely be streaming more of it I think.

He was doing the tutorial sections when I watched last night and seemed to be enjoying it.

What was the trigger that set him off.

He flew from Glasgow to Edinburgh in a smaller jet and after he landed and taxied the plane to the designed space it wasn't registering that he'd finished the flight. He went in a wee mood.

The same thing happened to me. Took a Cesna from Glasgow to Edinburgh, landed it, taxied to the indicated area (Driving through a ground crew guy, he should have been diced. ) and nothing happened. To be fair I think it was because I overshot the end point. It is pretty good at helping beginners but it could be a little more clear in certain areas.

I'm trying really hard to avoid getting this on PC. I'm pretty sure mine could run it, but my monitors are only 24 inch and not 4K. Really want to save it for the Series X on the huge OLED but it worries me they're not saying much. If it was going to be remotely near launch, you'd think they'd be saying that.

A big draw of this game for me will be flying past familiar areas such as my neighbourhood and any other familiar locations, ground buildings and areas are all detailed so I want to get an aerial view of some areas. I watched a little bit of Dr Disrespect playing this last night and I think he's got a powerful PC but he had these tiny micro-pauses which I think is a PC issue rather than game issue. I hope the Xbox release comes relatively soon.

I am the same, only have a 24inch monitor and a gtx960 so not the best card in the world so I am holding out for the new cards and then going to get an ultra-wide. Naturally there seems to be a lot of launch bugs and a good few crash to desktops right now so perhaps good to wait and not get frustrated with it.

^ micro pauses could be to do with the game servers, as it updates the terrain / atc by connecting to azure I think :?:

I like how quickly he changed his mind and reinstalled it again. His reaction at the Forth Railway Bridge being strawberry floated up and going underwater was pretty funny.

Got this through gamepass and it's really impressive. Runs like absolute ass on my PC, so I've had to adjust the render scale down just so it runs ok on Medium. It also hitches like mad when first loading into an area, especially during the tutorial for some reason.

Flew past Blackpool last night and was disappointed there was no sign of the tower or Big One :(

I'm addicted to watching this on YouTube :fp:

If this ends up being a launch title for Series X then i'm all in. This has far more appeal to me than a new Halo (and i quite like Halo).

Doesn't seem likely though given the lack of noise around any forthcoming console release.

I'll be streaming some more of this tonight if anyone is interested. Gonna try a more exotic flight so suggested departure/arrival locations are appreciated.

It’ll be next year I reckon.

Hold on a sec, Microsoft said they are pro-consumer and will release all their games for the next two years cross-gen so does this mean its coming to Xbox One? But thinking about it why shouldn't it run, there have been other flight sim games on the console.
