What aspect of a first person shooter couldn't Nintendo do?

A good one.

and Fable, and Alan Wake, and Crackdown and the Rare stuff, and a host of other properties they can pull back into if they wish with the nextbox.

To say anyone else could have done it is almost as stupid as the Nintendo claim that they could have made Halo but chose not to, pretty strawberry floating stupid.

Hardly, the same is it now? You comparing developing Halo to Kinect Sports now? Next you'd be comparing developing Mario to wii sports.

Once again you fail to answer my question. Do you agree that MS are short on the exclusive side? Once the Gears exclusivity goes away. They left with Halo and Forza.

If you want to ignore all the Kinect games and Kinect intergration features, you may not be that interested in them but it has just made up the biggest Xbox year in history sales wise.

The ME3 voice recognition stuff is not something that interests me, I'd rather push a button than talk to a console, but I can understand some people might like it. However, couldn't this be done with any head set or microphone? The gun customisation in Ghost Recon was quite cool, but I could see it getting tired, the shooting with Kinect however looked bloody awful, it worked, but I'd much rather use a controller than jazz hands to to pull the trigger. Quite liked the look of TR and MW3 looked Ok, but I'll probably skip the latter and go for Battlefiled 3 instead.

So am I right about the voice recognition stuff?

The two best IP on XBOX360 and not a word about either. I know one is in the works but I'd also like a proper sequel to Crackdown announced.

Weren't you having a go at Nintendo for doing the same all those years ago? What has changed? 10m have bought Kinect. So what about the 40m who haven't?

Guys, can we move onto to talking about the conference and not how many Halo or Mario games have been made over X years?

End of the day, if a series continues and maintains quality, what is the problem? Move on please guys.

Do we really need to keep mentioning Nintendo in order to defend or attack MS?

Surely its conference stands up or suffers by its own merits? And we don't need to know how the Mario/Zelda franchises are overmilked to defend Halo 4, or whether or not Nintendo can make a good FPS.

EDIT - BAH, AGAIN.

I've been having a go at Nintendo for having a technically backward machine, that couldn't cope with the sort of games I like to play. then waggle didn't live up to the promise on top.

cloud storage for game saves sounds good, as long as you can use one of your saves on a mate's console to show off a game. Really annoying when you tell them how great a game is and then have to go through all the tutorials and gooseberry fool. :fp:

Exactly.

I'd let it go man. Some people on here just aren't worth debating with.

This

Not sure why they didnt mention this at the keynote. Then again they did the same thing with the mango update on there phones so doesnt supirse me. Im liking the fact that you wont have to do the long process of recovering your gametag on a mates console now. That is very useful.

If it works like MS claim, you can just log into your profile on any Internet connected 360 and have access to all your saves.

the one thing I didn't like about the 360s was the internal HDD, the old one was like a big memory card that I could carry to other rooms and other machines. Not so easy with the rather fragile new HDD so this news is a big deal to me.

Wait, where'd this come from? Because that's actually pretty awesome.
