I expect this will be exclusive to the Scorpio.

It's only been announced for Windows 10 so far. Their aim is to create a VR standard on PC with multiple hardware manufacturers competing.

If they can make Xbox Scorpio compatible then it'd be a huge bonus.

I can't see why they wouldn't, they literally said Scorpio will deliver True VR in the Scorpio announcement.

The big thing is the Inside Out sensor system, meaning the headset detects where you are in space. Basically the Vive setup, without the Vive setup. Potentially very interesting indeed.

Has to be some sort of draw back though, I mean its €300...

Big advantage over competitors if it's a standard that can be used on PC and Xbox.

Don't like the look of HP's headset, buy the Dell one. You don't like the feel of Lenovo's, then buy the Acer one.

Seems to be whats going to happen, but I still don't understand why its so cheap.

Aaah, but still, presumably the base model will have the same base tech. I'd buy a bundled Scorpio if it had a killer app with.

The pictures look a little like sandwich boxes.

Yes?

Acer's headset, developed in conjunction with Starbreeze, is pretty interesting.

This one certainly won't be $299.

Asus' headset is certainly more low-budget

That Acer headset has nothing to do with Microsoft and the Asus one was shown as a phone accessory.
