Mid gen refresh?

Now that the PS5 and series X/S is officially old news it's time to start thinking about when the Mid gen refreshes will be announced.

Are you putting off getting into this new gen because of the possibility of new machines in 3 or 4 years or do you feel the new machines are powerful enough that we may not see anything until a true next gen cycle in 6 or 7 years?
Has the One X and PS4 Pro muddied the waters for anyone?

The leap from current-gen to new gen PS5/Series X will be bigger than from a possible PS5/Series X to a mid-gen update. So if you have a desire to and are in a position to then I'd get one over the next year.

If a PS5 Pro could do a solid 60fps/4k, rather than having to choose between performance or fidelity modes, it could be very successful and I'd consider upgrading.

I'd hope it would also have more onboard storage too.

I didn't buy the Pro because I felt it'd lessen the impact of the new gen, and I also didn't think it'd be four bloody years to the next console. So if they did do PS5 Pro, I think I could see myself getting one.
