Thought episode 5 was very good, love the way Simon is very slowly making moves to get onto the sofa at some point

By the way, are Grcade crew going to the Thursday or Friday show in Cardiff? I got tickets for the Friday one this week.

Simon has consistently been excellent this series. By this point anyone with even a hint of empathy must be dying a little bit inside everytime something goes wrong for him.

One criticism is how much Alan has sworn on-air. I know he's got a history of doing it, but it's always been when he's pushed to his limit. It's happened too often this series, usually without him being under sufficient stress.

Got to be honest, I'm hopping mad. I just want something in the middle.

Meant to book to see him in Bournemouth but it was sold out. Hope there's a DVD

There was a great call back in there

(don't read if you're going to see this)

Alan wants to time travel to meet his younger self and give some advice "via the medium of theatre". He goes back and his younger self is played on stage by some really hot woman in a skimpy school uniform, who he tells at the end under his breath "seriously, you look sensational". He then goes to the future and meets himself (this is him on a big screen he's talking to now) who's digital because of the me 3 movement and you can say whatever you want now. Future Alan also has a big woman's arse because he knows current Alan is in to it. The best bit though is the future is an empty Norwich city centre, because the crazy maniacs went ahead and pedestrianised it  "WHYYYYYY"

I see Coogan had to cancel last night's show. Seems it was done with hardly any notice too.

Laryngitis apparently. He'd even been on 6 music talking about it yesterday morning as well, so must have been very last minute.

I was surprised when I saw how long this tour was running for. That kind of schedule is bound to be difficult for anyone.
