Was just thinking about that the other day.

Great news. :)

I re-watched the first series quite recently and I think I actually enjoyed it even more on a second viewing. The bit with the Irish Partridge was absolute gold

The slow collapse of the professional relationship between Alan and Jennie was great to watch play out in the first series. From small but relatively tame little snipes at the start to pretty much outright and unhidden contempt for each other by the end

I liked the bits off camera with Lynn, they really felt like classic Partridge.

Lynn was great in this, I would have liked to have seen more of her. The bit where she's trying to help Alan "trap" Monty Don in some kind of scandal was great!

Back of the net!
Liked this a lot more on a second viewing. I didn't really like the Lynn bits though

The slow-mo example of the best technique for corporal punishment was the highlight. Haven't belly-laughed at a modern comedy show in years like I did when I first saw that.

Just the fact that Alan thought it was genuinely worth explaining to the public.

I still say many partridge things in normal conversations that people have no clue about, but I just can't help myself. I've done the whole death by firing squad of a bird of prey thing in a serious situation and had people look at me like I'm insane.

Luckily I was just portraying a mad man.

Going to have to watch series 1 again before this starts, thought it was really good in parts.
