As well as it being too late to do a lynch today, while checking through the thread to update the OP I noticed the election procedure wasn't propely done yesterday either. So Randolph shouldn't have been lynched.



I blame myself for this and I give my sincere apologies to Randolph Carter and the alpha. Given this, I need to come up with a remedy.

Had I declared the lynch invalid yesterday, I consider it likely that you wouldn't have made the same error again today and Randolph would have been lynched today. The alpha does need some form of restitution though so I'm giving them two kills tonight.

Well no, but I did PM you asking for clarification of the rules. I had no reply, so followed the OP:

6. The mayor must announce lynchee candidates before 7PM for a lynch vote to be official. Mayoral candidate with most votes at 6PM is mayor.

7. All votes in thread publicly for the lynch unless decreed otherwise by mayor.

I publicly declared that there wouldn't be a vote as we had already agreed who would be lynched.

This is all rather petty.

Yeah you requested a private election but didn't state who was in the election. You can't have a lynch vote with one candidate.

So no kill for us and two kills for the alpha?

We already know who the alpha is, they've basically admitted it. Another day is going to be very quiet and pointless, and a bit unfair for the two that die tonight on a technicality.
