I've never been mayor either, nobody would ever vote me for mayor in a real game although honestly I feel like I have been getting better than I was before.

I think I fingered 3 of the vampires this game and I like to think what I was doing in the thread was helpful to the village tallying post counts and checking post histories.

I cant see that he has actually confirmed two lynch candidates, so will the lynch even go ahead to tonight? The closest I have found is saying who he would lynch and take to the panic room.

By my count there are eight players left. Usually to win the vamps have to equal or outnumber the non-vamps - but Mori hasn't explicitly said so anywhere that I can see, so there may be a different win condition in play. Alternatively, there may be other living vamp-aligned players - which would explain the lack of outcry at Francis' supposed role reveal.

My role PM had alphas pluralised, so early on I suspected there might be two, but then the 6 seats seemed a pretty strong hint at 6 vampires, and then Zadok told us there were "5 vampires and 1 alpha" and this info even got added to the OP which pretty much confirmed it.

And yet John and Francis seem to have both claimed as vampires today?

2. You know what's really fun? Pentagrams of death! Stick 5 people in a pentagram and if one is a supernatural creature, it will die. If they're all human, everyone in the pentagram will die! What fun!

Also I very much want to know who Eva is so I can always lynch them first in every game from now on! I cannot understand what they are doing at all, unless they have some very strange role as way of explanation.

Thinking about it, Francis could be the human who is vampire aligned which would explain surviving the pentagram.

Killing him shouldn't be necessary for the town to win, but him claiming alpha could be a play to waste another day of a town lynch that was set on going for John and Randolph.

He can rig the vote to lynch one of Basil or Henry and the other can be vamp killed tonight. Or can he not lynch either because he never actually declared lynch candidates in thread?

He can't refuse, can he? I understood the rule to be that you could refuse if it would lead to your death. He will survive the night and therefore has no choice but to enter, I believe.

I'm looking forward to seeing who Carter is. He's been quite entertaining in the last few days!

Makes me think Katy Druitt and Calvin Poole may be vamps - Calvin in particular pops up regularly enough to be present but not enough to be noticeable, and there appears to be a rhythm to his appearances (no long periods of absence followed by sustained posting) which is classic vamp behaviour.

Nice hunches! To be fair, I posted exactly the same in the last game - having little time to post during work hours coupled with coming back to two young kids meant I had to catch up late at night. I was barely more active in our Vampire PMs!

Seems most people had me as a Vamp which is my bad, mainly because due to unexpected IRL stuff that meant I was only able to post once a day in big splurges. Not sure if I’d have been able to post differently regardless of my role.

I felt like the events on the pentagram/PM day turned things against us Vampires. The timing of enabling both at the same time and having a pretty much confirmed good guy mayor meant we just couldn’t get in at all to try to swing things. In addition to Zadok’s panic room and the poisoning business, it meant the game completely swung against us. PMs were going to be in play at some point though and the Seers had played well in identifying half of us!

Mori, was the pentagram/PM stuff a way of trying to balance the game? I think it made a lot of sense but was maybe slightly overpowered, although as I said was also unfortunate timing for us. Even having to sacrifice night kills to get rid of the pentagram was frustrating, but I can see why the event was introduced.

I’m another one who’s both in favour of alt accounts but finds it difficult to keep up with who’s who also managed to work out who Buck was straight away.
