If Henry takes Basil in the panic room, does the 'no two nights in a row in the panic room' rule prevent him from running for Mayor tomorrow? Assuming Francis gets killed tonight, if they need one of Tex/Eva/Kurt to run and be around at the right times to declare they could be in trouble.

I can't believe the vampires could win this on the back of some really inactive villagers and the alpha seemingly getting all the luck even after publically admitting in the thread that he's the alpha. After all the hard work we all put in it sucks to watch. Basil is just kinda stuck watching from the outside as one man is going to kill everyone.

Be glad there is no victory in death otherwise our win would be riding on this

I'm sorry to be a Grinch but if John is indeed the alpha the village should have won this today.

Like the players are literally hanging around in thread when they all agreed who the vampires are two days ago. Its kinda silly that they can all agree on a mayor and that John and Randolph are the vampires but because the mayor is (in a shocking twist) busy in the evening two days before Christmas they're seemingly forced to whiff it.

Like Tex, Basil, Francis, Kurt and Henry (even Skinner and Will) all agreed who the killers are 3 days ago and in thread consensus has never really changed from then. It was funny to laugh at Eva for a bit but this just seems silly so be so pedantic over a technicality when the village have been so clear on who needs to die for so long. The thread is so quiet because there's nothing at all for them to do but wait till the deadline each day so they can all vote for the person they all know needs to die.

This game should've ended today. The 1 hour confirming lynch target thing makes no sense to me either given it was voted in the thread who was to be lynched. I pretty much agree with Nun in everything he's saying. John should've resigned but due to technicalities he now has a chance to win the game and all the remaining active villagers are going to die lol.

Thing is he can't vote for himself, he loses as long as whoever the remaining non safe room person stands for mayor and starts a lynch vote. I swear to god if the final human is totally inactive and John wins because of this it'll be a massive joke. Everything we all did would've been for nothing and it'll be down to inactives again.

I'm sorry to be a miserable twat, but today's events utterly ruined the whole game for me. Technically a rule was broken, but it had absolutely no impact at all on the outcome. Posting 2 candidates for lynching or doing it the way I did it, either way Randolph was dead.

For the most part the game was fun, it's nice to see nobody guessed who I was, switching my style obviously worked. And not having any role pressures was great, a nice chilled out game.

But the ending isn't going to make me look back fondly on this one.

As both Basil and Henry were in the panic room last night, they can't become mayor. It's down to John or Kurt.

If i was still in the game, i'd launch a good old fashioned smear campaign against one of the villagers, just like all the bs i posted about Buck/Ob Bob . I know it ultimately didn't make much difference, but it did confuse a little and sewed the odd seed of doubt amongst the group.

I feel like the game might be more interesting from a villager perspective if there was victory in death.

I mean, if you're a villager, this is the way to play anyway, no? It's not like anyone is keeping score. I've technically 'lost' most games where my side has won. If every village player looked out solely for their own interests the village would never win.

I'm almost certain there's some players who do look at it like that.

Look at Lucy, a vigilante who sat for 4-5 days on information on there being a confirmed vampire ready to shoot and not shooting at all. When asked about her role to clarify she said that it wasn't helpful for her to share that information with the thread and it lead to the thread lynching them anyway after they wasted so much time looking out for no.1. Then there's Eva who... probably shouldn't have bothered signing up at all.

I was in no rush to shoot as my bullet was protecting myself.
I wasn't caught up with the thread, so not going to take 1 persons word on who I should shoot. From my perspective you were the only one pushing for this, so I was doubting your motivation. My request to talk as a group about it seemed to gain no traction, and I saw no reason to rush.
I still see no reason to reveal more about my role then I did, it would only make me more vulnerable - I only had 1 bullet and if people knew that they would know I was helpless after my first shot. Keeping it vague meant it wasn't guaranteed it was bullets / how many uses I had.

The reason we couldn't role announce or power explain is that it was heavily hinted in our role PM the Alpha could kill us even if we held the bullet. You ideally want to hold out as long into the game as you can so you can get to this stage and then end the game with a shot. The early calls for a vigi shot I think were aimed at an eventual Seer.
