I've settled on a solution regarding Ben Mearz for it was him:

1. We announce the Ben Mearz account has withdrawn for personal reasons. Because of this, I'm allowing a player who tried to signup later to take over in their place with a new account.

2. I'll randomly select one of the unpowered human players to get his power

The new account name is Laura Renfield.

Surely though everyone in the game will know that Laura Renfield isn't a vampire?

Gutted that I only got 20 minutes of that night phase though it's probably an improvement for my sleep schedule.

I was actually thinking Hoot might be someone like Balladeer purely because they were coming into thread and actually doing some research which isn't really on brand with the GRcade norm, glad he didn't die first in his first game with us if he is in the mix somewhere
