Do let us know if you decide to stream it, Dev. I look forward to it!

Not been following the thread too closely, but it's been in the back of my mind. Been wanting to sort out my GBA for a long time now.

So I just pulled the trigger on essentially the same stuff as Chocolate-Milk did. Going for a full Black shell with white buttons look for my GBA.

Think I might even do the modding on stream, same idea as the LEGO build stream I did.

How much did it all cost you?

Got the lot from retrosix.co.uk:

GBA IPS Screen Kit
Screen Dust Guard
Screen Bracket
IPS Glass Screen
GBA Shell (Black)
USB-C Battery Cover
GBA Pure White Buttons
CleanJuice USB C Battery Pack

Add on VAT and Shipping and it was £124.32 all in. Most of that was the Screen Kit and the Battery Pack.

I didn't bother with the Dehum/Dehiss stuff, but I might get that down the line.

Did they put an extra 'free' shell in with that? They've done that twice for me now on my orders, and the first time I assumed it was a mistake, but then I ordered the bits to fill that shell, and with that order came another one, so I think it might be to get you to do exactly what I did and order more bits.

They did that with mine too, actually. They say the Cleanjuice is installed in a half shell for shipping purposes, but they sent mine in a full shell, along with the other one I'd actually ordered.

That was it, the battery was in the full red shell. Doesn't explain the random dmg shell with the next one though, as I only ordered a screen and some buttons that time.

Not that I've noticed, but I've only just ordered it all, so we'll see what turns up.
