That was a nice tasty chunk of info
For anyone who can't be bothered watching the whole thing:
- Releases 30th June, pre-orders now open, 13gb patch for the base game to add Sunbreak content and rebalance various things accordingly
- New locale: The Citadel, which looks to include a few different biomes within it including ice areas and forests
- New monster: Garangolm, a big Shadow of the Colossus looking ape beasty that gets mad and attacks with fire element on one arm and water on the other
- New monster: Blood Orange Bishaten, which lobs exploding pinecones at you (called it!)
- Astalos is also confirmed to be returning
- Sunbreak content is accessible once you beat the Serpent Goddess of Thunder quest
- New hub area called the Elgado Outpost, a research facility with a new cast of characters
- Story seems to centre around Lunagaron, Garangolm and Malzeno who are named "The Three Lords"
- New Wirebug actions include some sort of shield for bowgun and a dive attack for dual blades
- Snazzy outfits with the deluxe edition and amiibo
All looks pretty good to me, was hoping for a few more monster reveals but I guess they'll be drip-feeding us with new info over the next couple of months. Also, did anyone else think that Minayle looks like she could be a grown up version of Little Miss Forge from 4U?
Edit - don't think the price was mentioned on the stream but the US eshop has Sunbreak up for $39.99, so probably around the £30 mark here (not sure if it's on UK eshop yet but the browser version doesn't seem to have it from what I can tell)
