In Stories 2 Plesioth has an attack called Hyperspace Tackle that hits everyone and I swear this is just a reference to its hitboxes being completely broken. Its also not catchable as a monstie which I like because it gives further evidence that Plesioth doesn't deserve the title of large monster (see also - catching Plesioth's while fishing in Freedom Unite).
The only way you could get their materials in 4U was through the harpoon minigame lol

This was one of my biggest gripes with World, the added map complexity was a nice touch at first but after dozens of hours it just gets annoying to find your way around
Yeah it's worse with the first map especially, not helped by the stupid amount of visual noise. The devs probably knew this because later maps get much simpler to navigate.

I don't think it's the best MH ever, but it's a return to form compared to World. It basically does what that game tried to do but at a level of quality matching and/or surpassing previous games. What it does objectively better than any game in the series is movement; it's like a faster version of breath of the wild in smaller maps. It's better looking than world, it plays better than world, and its story is less annoying and less intrusive.
