Lots of good stuff revealed in that, the switch skill swap thing sounds like it'll add a lot of depth, although I feel like I'm going to end up forgetting it's there half the time :lol:

Follower quests sound like they could be good fun too, it'll be a nice way for people to get a taste of the multiplayer experience even if they tend to play offline.

I feel like there's a fair amount of 4U influence in Sunbreak given Seregios is back, Malzeno has a very Frenzy Virus-sounding mechanic and I'm like 90% sure at this point that Minayle is grown-up Little Miss Forge. (Which is always a good thing because 4U is best monhun)
I'm wondering if maybe the different environments of the castle region could also link into an Everwood-style randomised hunting ground as well?
Also I'm claiming magma almudron as another box scratched off in my prediction bingo

I'm finding it odd that they didn't make any mention of Frenzy Virus in the Gore trailer, wonder if that means they've removed the mechanic/stripped it down somehow?

You need to have done the Serpent Goddess of Thunder 7 star quest in the gathering hub.

Am I right in thinking that all the new QoL features are such are being added to the base game for free? You don’t just need to buy Sunbreak for them?

The follower quests where you're with one of the NPC story characters are hilarious. They strawberry float off for a bit in the middle of a fight then come charging in riding another monster and start wrecking gooseberry fool :lol:

Yep, that's right, the hit Capcom game Monster Hunter Rise is coming to the Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC (4K60 version) in 2023 and it will be available on Game Pass.

Monster Hunter Rise will be available on January 20, 2023, as well as the expansion launching in Spring 2023.

It's said that Monster Hunter Rise will be a full "4K60 port" with "3D audio" on the consoles.
