Monster Hunter: Rise (Switch, PC, Game Pass, PS4, PS5) - B A S E D

I remember reading a solatorobo review that had clearly assumed the first credits were the end of the game when in fact they came like halfway through (but at the end of the first arc). Similarly beating the flagship is normally the end of the main "story arc" of the village quests in Monster Hunter. I think most of the examples I can think of mid-game credits are Japanese so maybe that's a thing.

I'm pleased there is still a lot of game left to go. Plus all the free DLC and the paid add on eventually.

I really hope we get some costumes based on Capcom and Nintendo properties like they did with Monster Hunter 4.

Aye the crossover stuff in World was largely pretty boring. It didn’t seem to get anywhere near the amount of stuff as the previous games.

Dark stalkers DLC would fit well considering the horror movie style introductions each monster gets.

I saw one of those introductions as my girlfriend was playing with English VA and they feel very different in MH language where it's like sung poetry. (I think you could change the language setting then use the gallery from the housekeeper if anyone is interested in comparing)

Eat a ration or similar. The supply box at the start of the quest should have some EZ Rations in it and the default loadout has rations in it anyway. You can also cook raw meat to make well done steaks with the BBQ Spit.

It'll creep back up naturally when you stop attacking or running, if it's a permanent drop then eat a ration (you get some free in the chest at th start of each mission) or drink a yellow stamina potion.

You can also eat before a mission, go into the tent when you arrive on a mission and select eat.

Also random bugs that float about give you stat boosts, either run into them or collect them. Depending on the bug.

I just want them to go crazy with Nintendo crossovers again because I missed all that from 4U/Gen

Dream DLC would be the BoTW Champion weapons. What would be even cooler if they had their own unique skills related to the special powers Champions have from the game. Being able to use Urbosa's Scimitar would make me fanboy beyond comprehension.

I've unlocked HR quests. Completed one of them which was longer than a normal fight but still achievable. I'm going to try out dual blades as they were my go to weapons in MHW.

Hunting Almudron almost feels like a different game, I was pretty overwhelmed at first. Starting to get pushed around a lot more now in the end part of Village quest, which is a good thing >,> I feel like such a scrub with SnS lol. Also haven't really been upgrading armour to keep it somewhat more challenging.

The Japanese ones sound like they're similar to the MH language ones. Out of curiosity, what are the english introductions like?

Whenever I joined a room it always seems that the other players are already out on a quest and when I host a room nobody seems to join, so I do the request missions and join mid quest. I'm about HR 6 atm.

Just started MH World tonight and all the menus are intimidating. Any recommended articles or videos to break me in as I've always wanted to get into these games to see what the fuss is about.

The demo made me go exclusively MH Language for main game. It's such a shame the English isn't as good as it could be. There is some stellar talent involved, I just think the direction of it all was poorly handled.

I'm doing a mix of HR hunts and then doing a few low rank I have missed. It's brilliant fun so far and I'd say it's better than world thanks to the new mechanics and huge range of creatures.

Made a good build for my light bowgun and switched out to two cats, both trappers. Will probably try gun lance soon.
