I fell out of World a lot quicker than I thought I would. Lack of proper post game kinda killed it for me. So news of this has got me hyped up again. Espeically since we have a proper cold climate area now which I sorley missed. Interested to see what new and old returning mosters we get.

I put 300 hours into this before becoming very bored with it. The post game same monsters but they hit harder isn't fun. Also the random gold seige with better equipment killed the grind as it made it luck based.
I'll probably hop balance into it with the expansion. However it seems too little too late and announced far too early. Everyone would have just preferred a new monster a month and a new area a quarter. That would have kept people playing.

I'm so strawberry floating excited for the new iceborn DLC. I would link the trailer but I'm on mobile.
Who else is getting this on day one? I hope they enable you to play through the campaign properly in co op now.

I've barely scratched the surface of the main game let alone consider any DLC.

I've only just managed to get to the tempered eldar dragons and oh my god do Teostra and Lunastra abuse roars and tremors a lot.
It's actually made me not want to play the game again. That gooseberry fool along with their fire fire everywhere just never gave me an opportunity to hit them.
It wouldn't be so much of a problem if the decoration grind wasn't complete RNG. If there was a set way of getting specific loot (like Borderlands) then I could actually farm a good build to avoid all the CC bullshit.
It's actually made me not want to play the game again. That gooseberry fool along with their fire fire everywhere just never gave me an opportunity to hit them.

By the time you get to those monsters you should have loads of different earplug gems that you can use. Plus there are armour pieces that have the earplug perk on.

Well I only have one ear plug gem. That's why RNG is a bit gooseberry fool.
That fight kinda killed my enthusiasm to play. Oh well. The later you get into this game the less freedom you have to run what builds you want. I liked it in the early game when I beat monsters because I got better, not my gear.

For you Monster Hunter fans, Dauntless may be worth a look. It appears to be a team-focused take on hunting down beasts and it looks pretty neat. It has cross-play (PS4, XBO and PC) too.
