I see they have a physical Edition with the main game and expansion so I might finally dive into this once that edition drops to around £25-30

The subspecies I've fought so far just seem to be more annoying versions of the normal ones but with added status effect attacks like poison or sleep, but the "new" ones are really good, particularly Glavenus and Brachydios.

Usually do a monster singleplayer then just play in multiplayer if I'm farming it or having real trouble beating it.

Question, does that new physical edition of MHW (Iceborne Master edition) contain any extra DLC or is it purely the base game along with the Iceborne.add on? No additional extras that you would miss out by buying the base game then Iceborne digitally separately?

According to this the master edition comes with the preorder bonus armour https://uk.ign.com/articles/2019/08/18/ ... xe-edition and looking at the digital edition on PSN it doesn't come with that armour anymore https://store.playstation.com/en-gb/pro ... NEXPANSION

Does Iceborne "reset" the difficulty, or continue onwards without a gap?

I'm worried by 12 months off will mean trying to start Iceborne will be like hitting a brick wall

It's a higher level of difficulty but you'll get a set of armour and weapon that basically brings you up to that level. It's like the jump from low rank to high rank.

The SAFI raid was quite fun and I liked how you powered up the weapons.

And it actually taught me to Clutchclaw and wound

I've now got a level 26 Awakened Bow....although I might be in trouble if something is Dragon resistant/immun

This is now £29.85 at Base on PS4 (Icebourne edition) i'm tempted to jump in at this point, seems a good price?

Is it still posssible to get all the extra content like Horizon Zero Dawn and Resident Evil 2 stuff?
