Should have claimed the AFRAID OF MIXTAPE title and claimed you're submission had to be blank because it's a genuine phobia.

The final week! I just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone for their participation in this game, when I started doing this I had no idea it would take off like it has done. It's been an absolute pleasure to run, but it wouldn't have been anywhere near as good were it not for you guys, your excellent music and your interesting discussion. Thank you all for that.

I thought after some negativity last week it would be a fun exercise to reflect on what we've enjoyed most from this game, finding and experiencing new music. :wub:

Playlist 8 - Thank You For The Music

- You must select a song used previously by another player in The Playlist Game. This should be a song you've enjoyed personally, preferably one that was new to you (although obviously I can't police this!)
- You should build a playlist which puts this song in a new context. For instance it might be a song used in a 'word' type list which you feel might sit better in a list of similar genre songs. Maybe something from the short week where it might work with an epic or two. Or maybe a song from a metal list which you feel might sit better in a list of disco bangers. It's up to you.
- The song you choose must be included in your playlist exactly as picked by the other player. No covers, interpretations or different versions.
- Your playlist can include up to five tracks and last no longer than 20 minutes in total.
- All songs must be currently available on Spotify.
- Deadline is 11.59pm on Sunday
- Please PM me your tracks, along your optional cover image. Let's keep things anonymous, it makes it more fun. Obviously some vague discussion in the thread is fine.
- Have fun, and good luck!

All the links to previous week's are in the OP, however I have also prepared something special, The Playlist Game Ultimate Megamix. Almost 30 hours of non-stop awesome! :toot:

This should be interesting! I wonder if certain tracks might get chosen by more than one person.

I doubt this will happen since there's been so many tracks picked, but I will just PM people to let them know should this be the case.

I might play it safe and create a playlist containing only the three songs that have been used twice. I reckon it'd do well in the voting too...

If anyone wants to PM me their chosen track first to check for clashes, feel free to do so. I've already had a couple, could save you a bit of work re-doing things.

Is the deadline on Sunday i.e. the day after tomorrow? Or the following Sunday?

This Sunday for handing your playlists in, next Sunday for listening and rating.
