Most Forgettable Game this generation?

A difficult question as the true answer will have already been forgotten by everyone.

I'd go with Rage 2.

Mario Galaxy 2

Rage 2 is a good shout. It wasn't terrible but was definitely forgettable and it's the release from this generation that I most regret buying!

Shenmue 3?

Arkanes Prey, I just thought it was so bland.... :shifty:

Knack, for the record I rather liked Knack but it is definitely forgettable.

WWE 2K18 for my PS4. I just don't know why I bought it... maybe because of fond memories of playing WcW / NWO Revenge on my N64. Anyway, I literally couldn't work out the controls; I just couldn't play the game at all. It's still on my hard drive but I can't imagine wanting to try it again.

It's one of the best games I played recently, I loved it.

I'd go for Evolve. I got given that as a gift, played it about 3 times and promptly forgot I even had it.

Oh, it's absolutely Radical Heights. I just spent 10 minutes trying to find out what it was called as it wasn't on any of the lists of battle royale games I was looking up until I added the keyword "failed".

And now I'm reminded of Boss Key Productions other game, LawBreakers. I think Radical Heights edges it though.

It's many, many things but forgettable is not one of them. A more accurate term would be "badly marketed".

Rage 2 is a great shout. If I'm right in assuming we're going for "Most Forgettable AAA Game" then honestly I think Avengers is heading that way. Considering it's made on the back of the biggest entertainment franchise on the planet it recently dipped below 1000 concurrent players on Steam.

Evolve was a weird one. I didn't think it looked or sounded to fun. Games journalists that played it under controlled conditions with each other at E3 and whatever other events were absolutely raving about it and it was getting a lot of "Best of Show" awards.

Played the demo, didn't think it was that fun.

Game bombed.
