The bit in MGS2 where someone grabs Raidens crotch because they think he's a woman.

The ideal time for my mum to walk in to my room.

See also the end credits of Fighters Megamix while playing as Honey (several candid pictures of her appear throughout, including one wearing just her latex skirt and bra and another centerfold type pic wearing just her underwear).

The baby crying in Max Payne. Still haunting.

Are you sure you're not thinking of MGS3, where a guy grabs Snakes crotch while he's wearing a Raiden mask, because they think he's their lover, who bears a striking resemblance to but is not actually Raiden?

Gotta love Kojima

Definitely happens in MGS2 as well, its the bit where you're tasked with rescuing some hostages, one of them just randomly gropes his crotch and acts surprised that he is indeed male.

I hope she then walked in again near the end when you play as a completely naked Raiden

It's worth mentioning that it's not just anyone but the President of the United States who grabs Raiden by the pussy.

MGS predicted Donald Trumps presidency.

There was that one moment in TloU 2 that got under my skin a bit where a certain action is forced on the player. I know all the reasoning and notions behind it but it just didn't sit well with me.

There's quite a bits in TLOU2 like that to be fair.

True but this specific moment just stuck with me most with how it built up and ended.

Just read and enjoyed that, thanks!

My only exposure to the characters is in Smash (in which I quite like Mythra's sci-fi sporty design, and the characters are a blast to play) but some of the actual XC2 context for the characters you mention sounds a bit ouch. And how that DeviantArt fan piece of a Nim design got honoured with actual 3D modelling and animation is :|

I remember that.

And I remember another bit (might not have been an actual mission I can't remember) where I was driving an ambulance away from police with doors swinging ajar and sirens blaring and knocking into pedestrians in the escape, and suddenly had this weird feeling of unease at the scene. Might have been because of this normal vessel of help being turned into something so casually, imprecisely harmful or something I dunno.

Also I remember in God of War 2 when Kratos needlessly smashes some priest's face into something or other and not enjoying the gratuitous dickishness.

And I wonder if there's a difference between the focus of purposeful playing compared with watching (more neutrally?). TLOU2 didn't 'work' for me like it did others (though I thought it was a fair enough experiment) and I was only affected at all by the predictable moments like the backstage duel etc. The moment to moment gameplay against guards I didn't find particularly affecting, even though they now call names out or whatever.

But when I watched a YouTube video of Gory Kills or something in the game, and actually noticed the grisly detail with which things had been depicted, I was then like Woah Wait, Is This Cool?

Have completed MGS 1-5, but there are some extremely morally dubious bits in most of them...

Thanks boss, I'm glad someone did! :)

Yep they had a variety of different (dodgy) artists doing the Blades and oh boy does it show. Also, restricting yourself to Smash you've 'missed' the camera angles reflecting Rex's view when his head's in Pyrah's lap. :dread:
