Very entertaining, shame it’s so difficult to keep up with it all. Some great strategy calls from Chariot.

I was going to put it on the oval layout for the US but I'd have had no chance of keeping up as that layout is such a short lap. I try and zoom out a bit so more can be followed off-focus, but then I can struggle to identify who is who. At least you guys can pause and rewind if needs be.

GRcade Cup - Results

This was a race that kept on giving. Mildew took a commanding lead over Red Dog at the start, before a pit stop error meant that Red Dog lost his tyre and had to do an extra pit, dropping him a lap down and 19th.

A SC was deployed when Satriales lost the car, and gave Vermilion a fortunate pit stop to catapult him to the lead with no need to stop again. Red Dog pitted from last under SC with nothing to lose.

Devlin charged through the field, pitted and undercut the field with blistering pace to reach 4th before Rossini called him in for new tyres two laps from the end. Devlin was vocal about his feelings afterwards, as the consensus was he should have stayed out and scored points.

Vermilion took his 3rd win of the season, leading the Chariots home, with Red Dog recovering to 3rd. Mildew finished 4th but was later penalised by the stewards for his rear wing not meeting flex test standards. Neo Cortex lost 10th place for the same violation.

Lotus, Herdanos and Mori all crashed out during the race to mean there was a season high 4 DNFs

Errkal gained driver of the day, quietly making ground and 13 places to finish 4th. Vermilion needs only a top 4 to be crowned champion, Mildew and Cheeky effectively have to win to have any real hope. 4 teams are also within a shout of the prize money defining Constructors, so there is still a lot to play for.

I'm genuinely furious with that last tyre change.

It's AI strategy like that which always makes me hesitant about these games.

I'd quite like to see longer form races so you get more chance to take in what's going on. Appreciate Roon might not want to sit through all that though.

Considering my team is clearly Ferrari it's surprisingly accurate to their current form.

AI isn't cranked to Max on strategy, as I wanted to see some strategy variation, and gives me some wiggle as I'm multitasking. Sometimes it allows the AI to play a blinder, and sometimes it does a Ferrari.

Longer form races are possible, it's mainly set to short to be respectful of your time. I normally play on Medium or Long races, but they can be up to 45mins Vs the 20mins or so for this one.

I have been jotting down some thoughts on how I would run this if I did it again, but I'll share it after the season ends.

Asia-Pacific SuperCup - Round 10 of 11

Image

Image

Garth is your Champion!

Balladeer was nowhere in the Canadian GP, despite Chocolate-Milk trying everything to back Garth up, with the duo finishing 35 seconds behind the race winner, KKlein. Milk and KKlein could both leapfrog Balladeer in the drivers at the final race if he doesn't show up again.

Garth's season is not over, as he still needs to find an 11pt swing on the MacNeils to qualfying for next seaosn.

Garly's points score gives the MRT the lead for 4th over Kirov by two points.

The battle for 6th has heated up with BOR's stellar performance of 4th bringing Zampelli back even for 6th with Lucatelli. TWA's point doubles Ozu's tally for the season, but they will need a 2nd place finish to avoid relegation now.

European Racing Series - Round 9 of 10

Image

Image

The fight for the WDC is still on as Ob Blob finished 2nd and best of the contenders, bringing him up to 11pts from the championship leader Faceman, who only managed 7th. Frankenstein won't be happy with 15th and losing the championship lead by 2pts. All to play for in the final race. It would also be remiss of me to ignore that Rubix and Dual could also theoretically win the title, if on very long odds.

Eastwood will also be happy with Pedz finding his form this late on the in the season, his win giving the team the lead in the WCC, although any of the top 4 teams could still win this title.

Okay, race is split in two as there was a potential issue with watchability but I think it was on Kinopio's end. So once I pause the footage at about 10mins40sec you can jump to the next video in the spoiler box where we restart the race at 1min30sec. Probably processing still for a little while, if you wish you can still watch as re-runs on Twitch.

GRcade Cup Results

Image

Image

Vermilion and Panther are your Champions!
Kitano Sport are relegated

Devlin did everything required of him to win this topsy turvy race in Brazil, but Vermilion made his SuperSofts last until the end of the race and retain 5th place when 9th would have sufficed.

Falsey pipped Kinopio to 2nd, which was critical to secure 4th in the Championship.

Asia-Pacific Supercup Results - Oh, double points is a thing.

Image

Image

Garth is still your champion, but MacNeil are your WCC!
Ozu Motor Team are relegated.

Chocolate Milk made sure that there was no chance for Milner to give Espirit the qualification spot, leaving Garth and Milner stranded in the APC. Mafro's 3rd wasn't enough for Kirov to jump MRT for 4th.

European Racing Series Results - And double points finale is also a thing here too.

Image

Image

Oblomov Boblomov is your Drivers Champion! Eastwood Motorsport are your Constructor's Champions!

Not the race to the line and the championship many were expecting, but Dual fended off Ob Blob for the race win and fastest lap, but Ob Blob just had the additional point needed to be the Driver's champion. Faceman and Frankenstein were nowhere again and many will say they threw their championships away. Despite the Vexala Double podium, Pedz' 4th allowed Eastwood to win the WCC, and he even finished a single point behind his teammate Faceman.

Glad to get my race win and 2nd place, but I'm still strawberry floating pissed about that previous race.

I want words to be had with my strategists over the calls they made, especially costing me a lot of points last race.

EDIT: Just looked at the previous round again and that decision to call me in on the 2nd last lap and change my tyres for no discernable reason cost me 12 points. Which would have won me the championship. strawberry floating AI bastards.

Great idea man and thanks for running this. Great fun. :D
