Sure, why not.

Also, videos definitely won't be up until after midnight, so don't stay up for them. Bloody awful internet. :fp:

Just looking back through the thread now, found the first week I joined in. There were a few choice quotes from that night. I didn't think I'd still be playing the game over a year later.

I can't believe we've been getting away with this thread in GGC for two years. Are we the only online gaming thread in here?

Also, should we merge the Apocolypse thread into this to keep this one going? Or keep them separate?

Massive kudos to chalky.

Also want to say I really enjoyed racing with you guys, some epic moments indeed. Wish I could have been there from the start but still pretty pleased that I managed to finish in the top five in only my second season. 8-)

Hope we manage to have some kind of reunion before Apocalypse launches.

Keep up at the back :fp: Thanks for the no show.

NOTHING was ever going to get in the way of GT5 and a sumptuous patch

So...er...MotorStorm Apocalypse then.

No idea. But 711 for a one game thread is something special.

GT5 is well on it's way to catching up,though. And that's only been out a month, too.

Do you think there's any other place on the internet that has such a huge following of a pretty small game? I wonder do newbies see this thread when they wander into GGC for the first time and think to themselves why it's so strawberry floating big?

Most of the thread will make no sense to noobs because it will be reactions to stuff happening online

What can I say that hasn't already been said, nothing really. Thanks to chalk, it literally couldn't have been the same without him, also to everyone else who made it so special whether a one nighter or a regular pain in my arse.

The memories

Maf being a banana split
Me being useless at the start and saying I'm never playing again numerous times about 15 months ago
Me and Rog winning the team crown and my pipping Ropes to individual crown
Satriales being a strawberry floating twat of a team mate
strawberry floating barrels
Multiple strops
The videos
Pissing myself laughing watching the old gifs
Dire Straits video
Meh being a cheating mother strawberry floater
Beatles sing alongs
Team C lifting the last crown 8-)

And much more

Time for adventure

Only had time to watch the 2nd video but my god, that was awesome chalky. I had no idea how many people have played this game.

Love the music at the end, a perfect choice.

Due to the crazy weather I haven't got to go into work today so I'm going to watch the first video now.

What's the song called at the start of the first video? I know I've heard it somewhere before. Is it from the end of The Shield?

Amazing vids. Thanks for all the hard work you put in every week Chalky, it wouldn't have lasted half as long without you at the helm.

Yeah it's from The Shield, it's called Long Time Ago by Concrete Blonde.
