Well he lets Wolverine be in the Avengers...

Yup - but Wolverine isn't usually straight massacring people in teh street. And Wolverine is an Avenger as he sells a gooseberry fool ton of comics. Not saying there aren't characters who'd kill on the Avengers (Wolverine, Black Widow, Iron Man all have/do when necessary) but it's hardly the same as a guy who ONLY kills. That's the Punisher - no prisoners.

Apparently Wanda and Quicksilver are in Whedon's draft for Avengers 2.

‘Oh, I've got these two characters, two of my favorite characters from the comic books;a brother/sister act. They’re in the movie, that’s exciting.’

I was thinking that if they do include them in the film can they mention even the word mutant? Or that they are Magneto's children. How much of the rights have they lost, because surely if they mentioned they are mutants and that they exist in the MCU then the fans will go mad for it. I know they share the rights to the two of them because they are classic Avengers also, but it will be interesting to see how much they can reveal about them.

From my understanding they can't include any references to them being mutants or that their father is Magneto.

Couldn't they just refer to themselves as 'gifted' or something? Skips over the whole mutant thing but fans get the hint

They'll just say "It's hereditary" or something and brush it off.

I'm not that up to speed on all this but does that mean wolverine can be in an avengers film as well due to him being an avenger? Or do Sony have sole rights to him?

No he can't. Back from Marvel sold all the rights in the 90s Wolverine wasn't the "in every book possible" character he is today. He wasn't even an Avenger I believe. That's the only reason Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch are shared, because they're classic Avengers.

Believe me if Marvel could have had Wolverine in the Avengers, he would have been front and centre in the first film

Just read that The Rock was offered the part that walhberg has got in transformers 4 first but he had to turn it down due to Hercules. Annoying as I think rock would have been perfect for transformers.

Is there are chance Whedon means Johnny and Sue Storm? Have the FF rights gone back to Marvel yet?

They're not so much just a 'brother/sister act' though.

Wonder if the films will even keep the whole incest thing with Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch...

No, which is unfortunate as they'd fit perfectly into the current Marvel cinematic universe.
