Full film in the trailer, but it does look good.

I think i'll skip that trailer, the less spoilers for me, the better.

Oof. Saw that Megamind was trending on Twitter, and that is an absolute bust of a revival. Straight to streaming sequel and a TV series, which are failing more than Shark Tale. Seems it's just the Knuckles TV series I'll be activating the Paramount+ free trial for. Though if I ever do get curious enough while the free trial is still active...

Aaron Taylor-Johnson is set to be the next James Bond, according to reports.

Famous for roles in films such as Kick-Ass and Avengers: Age Of Ultron, the 33-year-old actor is apparently yet to officially accept the iconic part, but a source told The Sun (#dontbuythesun): "Bond is Aaron's job, should he wish to accept it."

The source added: "The formal offer is on the table and they are waiting to hear back."

Eon Productions, which produces the Bond films, is also said to be preparing to shoot a new 007 movie, with a script now being worked on.

The Sun's (#dontbuythesun) source added: "As far as Eon is concerned, Aaron is going to sign his contract in the coming days and they can start preparing for the big announcement."

I've no problem with that as long as McLovin is the villain.

Ghostbusters Frozen Empire not reviewing well at all, IGN gave it a 4/10

Looks good, hopefully better than the underwhelming Covenant.

Obviously it's only a teaser trailer but that looks like it's hitting a lot of the right notes.

I've read that some of the test screening content was leaked and (assuming it's true) it doesn't fill me with a huge amount of hope, but that trailer did what it needed to and hopefully it turns out all right. It's kind of a shame that Ridley is in the driving seat as producer as this will inevitably be a semi-continuation of the Promtheus/Covenant storyline (they even included the blaring siren noise from Prometheus, which I also think was in an Alien trailer?) and I one of the leaks was that this is about a research station that is trying to harvest the black goo but we'll see. I do feel that the franchise needs a bit of a reset and return to its roots, and some of the imagery certainly provokes that aesthetic.

I very recently finished reading Alien: The Cold Forge which looks to have been a bit of inspiration for this.
