That's what they've done in Hong Kong, friend of mine has been to see the Dark Knight Trilogy over the last few weeks, so there could be a market for getting the old blockbusters in.

I wish studios would just start releasing new films on streaming services. Would at least give us something to get excited for while it's not safe to go out.

The lack of new releases has been great for people that wanted to get a number 1 movie in the US.

So I just watched Godzilla King of the Monsters today and....I'm not supposed to feel any sympathy for the mother am I? From her sacrifice at the end?

I mean she was the main (human) villain of the entire film.
The end wasn't a heroic sacrifice, it was a villain getting their comeuppance.

Nice teaser. Pushed back a year unfortunately but that's understandable.

Not that it'll happen due to the money required to be made back, but I'd really love if they just put Tenet on streaming services at this point.

Nolan's contract is 20% of the box office receipts so he's definitely not going to want it put on streaming services.

I'd pay a massive £3.50 to watch it in UHD on Prime.

That pretty much covers the cost of the film I'd imagine.
That's 70p Nolan is throwing away if he doesn't take that offer.

Disney delaying more movies. UK cinemas will be strange with no movies to watch.

The new Avatar and Star Wars films have been delayed a year,

Huh, I wasn't aware there was even a Star Wars film that was close to being complete.

There aren't. They've just put everything scheduled back a year.

So there are films still being released they just aren’t the large blockbuster which is a concern as that would encourage more people to look into attending.

I believe the rest of the world has kicked off at Warner Brothers over Tenet & said you don’t give us it just because America’s strawberry floated, there won’t be cinemas left to show it elsewhere in the next few months. I think it’s likely it gets a September release here

I don't see Tenet releasing here if they can't release it in America. And why would anyone want to watch it here right now anyway? Coronavirus hasn't gone.

I keep looking at the Cineworld website and it doesn't show a re-opening date at all. They were supposed to be opening at the end of the month.
