Doesn't have to devote months to things he doesn't care about and there's no press tour to promote the thing (which I've heard he never liked).
He probably works 30-40 days a year and makes 8 figures without breaking much of a sweat.
It's pretty much the most efficient way of making money for him now that his name is no longer bankable for big budget Hollywood action films.
Totally makes sense, especially financially and with his condition, Just a real shame as was great back in the day, and on the A list.
Beyond Die Hard, I think Fifth Element is my favourite role of his.
