Impressed Martin Lawrence committed to wearing a fat suit for the entire film.

Props.

https://www.videogameschronicle.com/new ... -director/

Directed by Ben Wheatley and starring Oscar-winning actress Alicia Vikander as Lara Croft, it’s set to be released on March 19, 2021, Deadline reports.

Wheatley’s previous director credits include Kill List, A Field in England, High Rise and Free Fire. His wife Amy Jump was a writer on each of those films and is also penning the script for the new Tomb Raider movie.

Well this is the weirdest strawberry floating movie news I've heard in a while. I suppose they looked at Free Fire and were impressed with his action shooting as the rest of his films are monstrous nightmarescapes of paranoia and dread.

It'll be interesting to see, one way or the other.

One of th best directors working today. It's really strange he is doing a sequel to tomb raider but it will also get him noticed in Hollywood and the freedoms to make bigger budget films. Sightseers, free fire and kill list is a very impressive CV.

It’ll be awesome when Lara Croft has to go to Keswick to retrieve a sacred pencil

He probably spent a few months getting in shape for the movie so imagine how big he was then.

There’s more to it than that, but you’ll probably be able to pick it up.

Cheers, I'm sure I'll be fine. If not I'll just enjoy the popcorn and not having the kid all weekend

Scarlett Johansson defends Woody Allen
Speaking to the Hollywood Reporter, Johansson said: “I see Woody whenever I can, and I have had a lot of conversations with him about it. I have been very direct with him, and he’s very direct with me. He maintains his innocence, and I believe him.”

“I love Woody,” she said. “I believe him, and I would work with him anytime.”

:fp:

Great article here on how she's become one of Hollywood's most problematic actors.

Much like Lena Dunham putting out a statement saying that while she believes all women, she didn’t believe one particular woman because the allegations were levelled at her friend, Scarlett’s quotes on Woody Allen suggest that she is all for empowerment, diversity and women until it benefits her not to be. Hollywood is a very difficult place for any woman to make a living. But it’s even worse for a black woman, an Asian woman, a queer woman, a transgender woman or a transgender man. As a white, cisgender, beautiful, bankable actor, Scarlett should be using all that power to lift others up with her – and that doesn’t just apply to the choice few that are convenient.
