What other films has this Todd Phillips banana split done?

Can’t be arsed to double check but I think he did Old School and the Hangover movies.

Hangover is an interesting one. As they hired Mike Tyson..... Which is interesting. Then they refused to hire Mel Gibson because of his past for the sequel. Yet Mr Tyson has apparently done nothing wrong.

The director just thinks he has made a masterpiece and is riding the wave of it until some kid puts on a Joker mask and does something violent.....

Twitter is used for advertising now. Winding up woke people is free publicity as it gives lazy journalist easy click bait articles "you won't believe what the joker director has done now"

Am I the only person who thinks Joker looks utterly strawberry floating gooseberry fool even without all the fedora-wearing misogynist gooseberry fool surrounding it?/

How has it managed to win awards? (other than large sums of money exchanging hands).

I thought the same thing when it was first shown off but then the media said it was great so now I like the look of it....

That’s how it works right?

So I stayed away from Eastwood's last two films, American Sniper and Sully, due to their political leanings but now it looks like ole Clint has gone full on MAGA. It's based on a true story but the message seems to be clear: the media and the FBI are not to be trusted.

Lovely.

Clint is terrible. Not made a good film for ages. American Sniper was a horrible film about a horrible man. Worst of all is Clint is friends with Jesse Ventura who was lied about by the real America sniper causing him huge problems and yet clint still made a film depicting a hero.

Just on Sully, I was genuinely shocked to find out how much of Sully they made up. You accept movies are exaggerated for storytelling but in Sully it's ridiculous. Their answer to stretching out a 6 minute flight into a 2 hour film was to turn the NTSB (who were very supportive of Sully in real life) into the bad guy based on nothing.

Man, they’ve spent $175m on that. They must be really banking on RDJ’s name to carry it because I’m not sure a Dr Doolittle film alone is enough.

Also, is it law that all trailers require slow cover versions of famous pop songs now?

RDJ has clearly got bored of starring in guaranteed blockbusters, I guess all the money will do that to you

What's more annoying now is trailers on YouTube having two seconds of shots from the trailer you're about to see right at the beginning. Doolittle there being a prime example.
