That's a rubbish Batmobile.
Is Batman on a budget in this film?

I think this is meant to be him early on in his "career".

Could be he's just adapting a lot of stuff he has and hasn't fully developed his arsenal.

It would certainly explain why things look a bit..... shonky.

We'll see what they do in post-production though.

It's basically the Batmuscle car.

I like it and it obviously chimes with the "early days of being the Bat" theme that they're going for with the more amateur-looking suit. First look at his bat ears as well, looking good.

He was bitten by a radioactive Bat wasn't he, then sent to Earth because his home planet was going to explode?

It's not a Batman film if there's not a slow mo shot of a gunshot, and a broken necklace of pearls falling to the ground in slow mo

It’s not a Batman film unless we see his parents dying in an alleyway.

Exactly, everyone knows this stuff off by heart - we don't need to tread the same ground again!

I think the main action is something like "year 2" but I bet they'll still jam a flashback or something in there to hammer it home.

Thinking about how young Batman is now, do you think they are going to update the origin story? Instead of being at the opera, the Waynes take their young son to see The Matrix. Outside some trenchcoat wearing youths are practising flicking open their slide phones when they see the billionaire Thomas Wayne. “Duuude” they shout “give us your AOL log in details”. Mr Wayne refuses and the youths later hack his private jet and cause its on-board systems to crash with the millennium bug……

It's the only way they can engender any sympathy in the audience for the billionaire with the vigilante complex.

I'd love to see him go toe-to-toe with a Bernie Sanders-esque hero.

They should just throw New Mutants out on streaming services and be done with it. Put it out of it's misery.

Only the strong may watch fast cars and big explosions. No weak links. Coronavirus will cleanse the audience.
