Climate change has changed London quite a bit judging by that picture.

Looks good.

Love the little guy. The series was going in a very cool direction but it had pretty much run its course. Good to see him back.

Wish my image sig would work

I'll give it a look, but I'm more interested in the show that' meant to be happening, the one with the people who work on the other Child's play stuff and has Brad Dourif

He's worth hundreds of millions of dollars, I think his agent is doing just fine.

When was the last time he was in a good film? He's an overrated actor but comes across really well and back in the 90s he was in a very famous TV show.

Yeah, I'm unconvinced how playing the best character in what will be one of the biggest films of 2019 is a bad thing.

Edit: responding to preezy, not dual.

Looking over his filmography it is surprising just how much gooseberry fool Smith has been involved in over the years, his ratio of bad to good films is pretty strawberry floating appalling for such a high profile actor.

Can't say as I'm looking forward to his Genie in the pointless Aladdin remake, if there was one man capable of being more annoying that Robin Williams in that role they've certainly managed to find him. :dread:

I guess he had a decent run in the mid-00s - I, Robot, I Am Legend, Pursuit of Happyness, Seven Pounds, Hancock. I haven't seen a film with him in for a long time, though will probably watch Concussion one day as the subject interests me.

I certainly don't dislike him, even though he does largely play the part of Will Smith in most of his movies. I wonder if trying to shake that off has held him back. Audiences want what they want.

Haven't previous live action remakes done worse than Disney were hoping? You'd think with the success of Mary Poppins Returns they'd start looking into more "original" stories rather than just shinier, padded-out, soulless retellings of what's already been told.

Isn't she supposed to be like 15 or something...

Bring it!

I can't stand that character and performance, it's just a constant barrage of shite forced on the unsuspecting viewer. Sneak preview of Williams' original script:

MOVIE REFERENCE
CELEBRITY IMPRESSION
WACKY NOISE (x3)
MOVIE REFERENCE
JOKE THAT IS SUPPOSED TO BE TO STOP THE ADULTS FALLING ASLEEP
TV REFERENCE
CELEBRITY IMPRESSION

Cast Notes: Must be played by someone capable of shouting constantly

Yeah, but she shouldn't get bonus points for that.

She's definitely the hottest animated Disney Princess. :toot:

Mary Poppins Returns wasn't a remake, but did do badly, taking $335m worldwide. However, actual remakes have done better: worldwide, Jungle Book took $1bn, Beauty and the Beast took $1.2bn,

For comparison, Last Jedi took $1.3bn; Avengers Infinity War took £2bn.

I think they've done well enough that we'll be seeing more of them*. However, I do think Aladdin is going to be hugely overshadowed by Lion King this summer.
