So so bad. Been delayed forever.... Though not as long as New Mutants which was so bad they went bad and added another character.

Even when Marvel's own films lose their way it's worth remembering this is how bad they could be without Disney.

None of the cast want to be there, but are contracted. Maybe they should get the original director of X-Men to come back and.... Oh .... Maybe not.

Last X-Men film I watched was First Class.

I do want to watch Days of Future Past at some point but beyond that I have zero interest in what they seem to be doing with the franchise.

First Class was pretty good, everything since then has been gooseberry fool.

The makeup on Raven/Mystiude looks awful. Looks like a stepdown from the previous X-Men's make up.

Definitely Fox going "strawberry float this. It's Disney's Problem" and release this trash.

Well...

SPOILERS FOR DARK PHOENIX

According to test screenings she dies almost immediately. They probably didn't want to bother putting too much effort in.

Anyway.

Despite all the CGI it somehow looks like a low-budget version of the Del Toro Hellboys. Probably something to do with Neil Marshall's fondness for B list actors. I'll still go and see it, but I imagine it'll be a 7/10, easily forgettable romp.

The director has confirmed the X-Men spoiler above which is an odd move.

Also that Hellboy trailer looks great. Such a talented director.

Yep, only took about 30 years.

Seems to be th same atmosphere as Critters 2, comedy horror with brilliant practical effects.
