That's gotta be one of the most damning film comparisons (As good as Psycho remake) I've ever read

It's such a good "review". It eviscerates the thing without actually eviscerating it at all. It's somehow the most brutal, and most reasonable, critique of a film I've ever read.

Is this cancel worthy? I think this is strawberry floating cancel worthy.

To answer your question, I don’t think that is cancel worthy. I don’t 100% agree with Scarlett on the issue but somebody shouldn’t be cancelled just for saying they should be allowed to play any character.

I’ve only read the headline in the tweet though, the article might have cancel worthy stuff in.

I mean, it's the comparing of minorities and trans people to animals and trees that I had a problem with.

Seriously though, is a strawberry floating awful take. Here's the best paid actress in the world defending her right to take roles away from actors from minority groups, and doing it in the most dismissive, ignorant way.

It's also worth remembering she's doubled down on her defence for Israel recently, after that whole Soda Stream thing.

She was forced to step down from playing a trans man recently in the upcoming Rub and Tug. She originally dug her heels in but popular sentiment turfed her out.

EDIT: The quote her rep gave in response to the criticisms of her playing a trans man was "Tell them they can be directed to Jeffrey Tambor, Jared Leto, and Felicity Huffman’s reps for comment”
