No Time To Die? I think I preferred Shatterhand.

We all knew the rules. No more than two Spider-Man movies with one actor before it all goes to gooseberry fool.

Shame though, I was really looking forward to seeing how he'd fit into the Avengers post-Endgame.

I'm quite looking forward to it as I've always wanted to know what happens after the end of the third film.

Yes, Neo is all super duper and stuff but I'm more interested in how humanity will rebuild or if everyone will just say "strawberry float it, being in a computer generated world is more fun than rebuilding a shattered Earth".

Yes, it could be a really shitty VFX filled disaster but I have hope that they will have noticed the rather negative feedback to the last film and decide that maybe telling a story that isn't overblown bollocks is maybe a good choice.

A 33% success rate on Matrix films doesn't fill me with confidence, I agree with Preezy.

The Matrix was great.

Reloaded and Revolutions were steaming piles of gooseberry fool. As have most (if not all) of the Wachowski movies since the first Matrix.

A Matrix 4 will therefore be gooseberry fool.

Add in the Matrix being used as an inspiration by fedora-wearing misogynists and alt-rights and the whole franchise is sour.

But I am not outraged by the idea of them making another one, they can't ruin it any more than it has already been ruined and maybe it will turn out to be decent.

Reloaded was fine.

I'm genuinely struggling to remember what actually happened in Revolutions.

If they could basically make a feature-length version the Second Renaissance from the Animatrix then I would go and see it.

That's what I was thinking. :D

But then I guess wouldn't make sense to have Keanu involved :(

Rewatched the entire trilogy recently and was genuinely shocked how much I enjoyed the second two. The action scenes in Revolutions are still genuinely thrilling and the story wasn't half as hackneyed as I remember. The second one was... Not as good but still an interesting ride.

I'm looking forward to this.

SO Neo didn't die? I thought he sacrificed himself? He was kung fu Jesus.
