It really isn't.

Me, the wife and kid would cost £20ish. Sometimes cheaper depending on what cinema/what times.

And the cinema offers an experience. A huge screen, great sound system and a day out.

And a £20 rental certainly isn't cheaper for those that go to the cinema alone or live alone and want to watch a new release.

That experience being some prick sitting in your eyeline checking their mobile phone every thirty seconds.

For £10 I'll come round to your house and carry out that service.

I'd happily pay that price to not be sitting among banana splits eating nachos and popcorn with their mouths open.

No word of a lie, when I saw The Dark Knight Rises, the smell of nachos and melted, plastic cheese was so strong that, to this day, I can still smell it when I watch that particular film. Nacho PTSD.

It Follows is one of the best horror films in years. Might watch that tomorrow.

Not a single Star Trek film.
Totally unacceptable.

Any word on which version of The Shining? An extended version was released in America apparently which I've never seen.

I’ve never actually seen Citizen Kane so will need to get on that, nice one!

EDIT: also, seems like a lot of people go to really bad cinemas, or have super sensitive hearing. I rarely have these sorts of problems!

Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton both how confirmed to be playing their version of batman in the Flash (flash point) movie.

Michael Keaton in the best bat suit....

All we need is Mark Hamil as the Joker and we have the perfect film.

I want them to cast Val Kilmer, just so I can see if he fits inside a bat suit....
