It looked shite from the off. No Warlock and Wolfsbane doesn't even have her Scottish accent :dread:

Maisie Williams is definitely trying to do a Scottish accent in the trailer. Much like the rest of the film though, it does not appear successful.

Is that F for "Fabulous idea, I wish I was going so I could experience a film in Imax as well but I can't because I'm most likely going to be at work at 11.30 when you're going"?

Or F for fail?

He's pressing F to pay respects, because you'll probably catch Coronavirus and pelt it.

The screening I'm going to (for Tenet) this evening has social distancing measures in place and of course I'll have a mask for entering/exiting the theatre so...

I get it, nobody ever died being too careful. But at the same time, it's those with the least common sense who'll likely catch it and even then they may still recover.

Christ, you're alive!? I thought by going to a cinema, even with the proper safety guidelines in place, would be like signing your own death warrant!

Yep, normally it is but if you're manly enough you can just about survive.

Tenet was ok but there were bits where the music and effects made the dialogue almost impossible to hear. Very timey wimey and a bit hard to follow at times.
This does mean I can't haunt Mafro though which is a bit of a shame.

To hear that the general plot and characters get lost in the overall concept didn't surprise me when it came to the reviews.

I'm there mostly for the concept anyway, but I'm sure we'll be seeing plenty of analysis over the coming months and with it a better understanding of the story than in a single viewing.

It's well worth a watch and pretty amazing in Imax.

I may go and see The Roads Not Taken next as that sounds like it could be interesting.

Oh dear.

Up to 29% now, but still described as the worse X-men film.

Rocky IV is getting a director's cut by Stallone to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the movie which could be out in November. The original is very MTV-like with much of it told in music montages and was of its era. But I wonder if Stallone is going to change a lot to retell it for a present day audience.

"For the 35th anniversary, Rocky 4 Is getting a new director's cut by me. So far it looks great. Soulful. Thank you MGM For this opportunity to entertain," the actor said along with an impressive drawing of the film. He also noted that Paulie’s robot, a very bizarre '80s gimmick, will be cut from the movie entirely. "The robot is going to the junkyard forever, no more robot," Stallone replied to one commenter.

My wife - an avid reader of science fiction books - thinks this looks gooseberry fool. I - an avid watcher of science fiction movies - think it looks incredible.

Dune trailer looks fantastic, only thing that slightly worries me is the lead . The whole thing could succeed or fall based on his performance and although there isn't much to go on in the trailer there are hints that he might not have what it takes to carry things.

Plz watch literally any Timothee Chalamet movie.

I love the book and am...undecided. Dune was the original epic space-opera, and introduced so many concepts now considered rote that any modern interpretation is going to look derivative as generations of sci-fi writers have co-opted so much from it. However, that trailer is extremely...grey.

I love Villeneuve's work and have no doubt it will be amazing but I wish they'd allowed themselves a little more joy in creating the look of the thing.

Well yes this might help, but I've yet to come across him as far as I know. Well that's not technically true I think he was in Interstellar but I have zero recollection of his role in that. Any particular recommendations?

I'm willing to be wrong, like I say there isn't much to go on from the trailer - it's just the initial impression I got from it!
