Tom and Jerry is very dear to my heart so this abomination will not be watched in my house, sorry kids.

It looks better than the animated movie where they fuckkng talk to each other and gooseberry fool.

Wonder Woman 1984 out on HBO Max on Christmas Day

No word on any UK streaming deal.

To the high seas!

Apparently the video quality of HBO Max is the worst of the streaming services (1080p, not great bitrate so dark scenes blacks look stripey), I'm in no rush so might wait for the iTunes version.

Game of Thrones is going to look like a proverbial zebra, then! I used to curse HBO Max not being a thing over here but it sounds like we’re not missing much.

The 1940-1955 era is the only Tom & Jerry stuff I'll watch.

Calling it: this will probably be an alright watch. I'm quite looking forward to it and my son might be old enough to go to the cinema when it comes out!

The Godfather, Coda: The Death of Michael Corleone the new edit of the Godfather Part III comes out on the 7th December. Coppola invited some people to a preview showing and Diane Keaton loved it.

Considering the state of that franchise I'm not so sure it is

Mads can do better, better than Fantastic Beasts and better than Depp. He is incredibly effective in villainous roles.

I’m surprised Wonder Woman hasn’t been given a stream/VOD release in Europe too.

Just in the U.K. alone looking at the tiers at least half the cinemas are closed. One chain is closing till spring ontop of Cineworld - that’s even less screens to watch it

I honestly think Warner Bros. should've just sat on it for another six months as it's not as if the movie will go out of date. Hopefully post vaccine launch come the summer the world is a safer place and the cinemas are open and they could have profited. But now they are putting it on a streaming channel that's only available in one country and as soon as it's shown it will likely be pirated and shared and if it's a quality movie it's a shame.

What do you think Disney will do with Black Widow? They punted Onward onto Disney+ ‘early’, there was the whole Mulan debacle (coming next week for those who didn’t pony up the extra money) but Soul is arriving on Disney+ immediately, skipping the cinema (I think, probably).

With news of vaccines proving successful in trials I think the studios will sit on films for a few months longer to see what happens
