Martian Manhunter

If, if, I'm remembering correctly one of the early trailers (Either for JL or B Vs S) showed a glimpse of a scene with Alfred in the Batcave and a green flash of light... :shifty:

Pretty sure I'm right about that and it didn't actually appear in the movie.

Isn't it supposed to be the army general that's Martian Manhunter?

Hopefully not true, beyond weird that.

I actually can't believe his name is Armie...Hammer. I've only heard his name mentioned and always heard it as 'Arnie'.

Looking at his wordless performance in that trailer, I reckon he thought he was actually taking a cleaning job and then they just filmed the results.

Wasn't there rumours that he's basically skint or owes tons of people money or something like that?

Not rumours. Cage is seemingly perpetually trying to pay off large tax bills.

Godzilla would destroy Kong.
One blast of his nuclear breath and Kong is warm buttery toast.

Didn't Godzilla also use to have eye beams as well or did I dream that?

I'm sure I was reading rumours a while ago that Kong basically gets a bit of an upgrade, though I may have imagined that.

But even that two second clip was good. Kong knocking the strawberry float out of Godzilla. :datass:

Apparently it's in theatres/streaming March 26th.

Aye it'll be interesting to see what daft plot device they use to nerf Godzilla or buff Kong.

I don't remember much about King of the Monsters aside from the GOAT trailer and Godzilla going nuclear and wrecking Ghidorah.

King of the Monsters was great.

Big, dumb fun, with plenty of focus on the monsters which is exactly what it needed to be.

Hell, even the human stuff wasn't too terrible.

And yeah that trailer was excellent.

Kong was a teenager in Skull Island, it's been nearly 50 years so he has all grown up. So that's why he is now the size he is.

Toys for the film have already gone on sale (Smyths) and there is one toy that was leaked that shows there is a lot more to the film than just kong Vs zilla.

Godzilla never had eye beans but in the best GodIlla film, Shin Godzilla he had back and tail beams.

In the first Godzilla Vs Kong battle and in subsequent Kong Japanese soon offs he sort of has electric powers but it's all a bit vague.

Plenty of spoilers around for Godzilla Vs Kong and they are all exciting for what will happen.

It's the last monster-verse movie that can use Godzilla or Toho owned creatures so after that Japan will make the Godzilla movies again. Though there are rumours legendary may try to keep things going with their own monsters.

Is the Peter Jackson King Kong canon? So its the same Kong, he just keeps growing cos reasons? That would be a good way to hype him up and make him more powerful hes even bigger and stronger than in Skull Island so can hang with Godzilla in a fight. Either way Im really looking forward to this, love the movies so far, dont see why this would be any different.
